This optional and experimental ROM is intended for users of OS3.9+BB4
under emulators such as WinUAE.
It quickens booting considerably compared to softkicking an OS3.1 ROM.
It assumes an A1200 is being emulated.

How it was made:

ROMSplit was used to extract all files from an A1200 KS3.1 (V40.68) ROM...
...and from DEVS:AmigaOS ROM Update-BB2.
ROMSplit's input.device patch was not applied, but the Ram-Handler patch
was applied.
Remus was used to build the new ROM image.
icon.library, workbench.library and scsi.device were removed.
Other components were updated with their BB4 equivalents.

Usage:

Firstly, install BB4.
Then, modify your startup-sequence as follows. The lines from:

FailAt 21
 : : :
C:SetPatch...

should be removed or commented out, and replaced with:

C:SetPatch NOROMUPDATE QUIET

Now change your ROM to BB4.ROM instead of Kickstart 3.1 in the
"Hardware|ROM|System ROM Settings|Main ROM file" gadget of WinUAE.
